RV Life = Community

Many times when people think of camping or RVing they immediately think of remote destinations in the wilderness. Sometimes people envision family time or a trip with friends. Other times the thought is just a way to escape daily life. The fact is that RV life IS community and it’s a wonderful community to get involved in.

Take time on your trips to get involved in activities and with groups you feel have similar interests to you. The people we have met have been simply amazing! We’ve actively been involved with various other YouTubers such as Switch It Up and joined in their fun. We attend the big RV shows, such as Hershey and Tampa, and meet amazing people there as well as the friends from the campgrounds. These people have become part of our lives and we always look forward to seeing them on future trips.

The friends we’ve made along our journey come from all walks of life. Some are older retired couples while others are younger with families living on the road. They have skills and interests from relaxing and sightseeing to RV mechanics to large content creators. The more people you meet the broader your abilities will be. You will find that most people in this community are always willing to lend a hand or even teach you how to do things!

Finally there are the kids and what’s in this for them. They say it takes a village to raise a child and I can say that the RV community IS that village! There are SO many activities and things for the kids to be involved in while on the road. They home school and learn on their own as well as in groups with the friends they make along the way. There are groups like Fulltime Families and others to help facilitate meeting people………but then again we all know the kids are going to facilitate that as well! Kyleigh and Jacob have made so many friends along the way that they’ll never forget. Many of these friends they see often as we tend to all migrate to the same events and areas.

Whatever your reasoning for being in the RV lifestyle you’ll find the community makes it 1000% better. You can never replace the life here from the friendships to the tips you’ll get about restaurants and attractions. So get out and enjoy life. Step out of your shell and make friends. Until next time……
