Camping in the Cold Canyon

A lot of people like structure and routine in their lives but not this family! We love having the ability to go on a moments notice most of the time. This weekend things changed for us and we made a last minute reservation at Cloudland Canyon State Park in the mountains of Northwest Georgia.

After a relaxing night around the campfire we woke up to a cool 26 degrees and clear skies. The pop up camper stayed warm all night and we even had to turn off heaters at one point! The heavy duty survival blankets on each bunk end work wonders with insulating the camper! Today brings adventure throughout the park as we seek out the views and waterfalls!
